The state government has announced a new subsidy programme for modernisation of cold storage facilities across Gujarat. Under this scheme, eligible cold storage operators can avail up to 40% subsidy on investments in energy-efficient equipment, solar panels, and modern refrigeration systems. Applications can be submitted through the district agriculture office. DBKCSA will conduct a workshop to help members understand the application process.
